There are many singers turned musical actors in recent times, but TVXQ’s Xiah Junsu has been the most recognized among them all and he was rewarded with a Male Rookie nomination at the 4th Musical Awards.
The awards ceremony was held on June 7th at the Sejong Culture Arts Theater where Junsu walked away with the award for his efforts in the Mozart musical.

Junsu said after winning,
“I’m so very thankful. I’m happy to be standing here not as a singer but as a musical actor. To be able to win this one-time only award, I will work hard in order to live up to it. I thank God for giving me this opportunity to appear in Mozart.
I also want to thank the staff of EMK.
I will work harder in future to become a real professional actor.”
