Singer MC Mong spent his Wednesday morning at the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office in Seoul. He was questioned for 4 hours by the authorities, starting at 8 AM.
The singer is being suspected of attempting to dodge the mandatory South Korean military service because of some of the dental work he has had done. MC Mong was exempt from the draft back in 2004 due to his dental work. A few suspect that MC Mong had his molars extracted intentionally to avoid going into the military. He was originally supposed to be investigated back in July, but the police allowed him extra time to consult with his lawyers.
MC Mong’s agency adamantly denies that he intentionally avoided the draft. They vow to take legal action against the false reports that have come out.
